Simple and Fast Honey Citrus Instant Tea Recipe
Spring is here and the sun is out! Why not celebrate with cool and refreshing citrus honey instant tea?
Spring season is the time to transition out of your warm clothes, deep clean your house, and smell the newly bloomed flowers. It’s also about time to switch from your usual hot cup of tea to a refreshing iced tea.
This instant tea recipe is simple and only takes a few minutes to make! You can easily find these ingredients in your home, too. The honey in the tea is a great sweetener and healthier alternative to artificial sugars, while the citrus is packed with vitamin C and nutrients. This recipe is bold, refreshing, zesty, and delicious!
Sidenote: The recipe is a guideline. In other words, you can’t really “fail” or mess up the recipe because it’s all up to you! Feel free to add more, use less, or make as much as you want with this recipe! That’s what makes this recipe so easy: it’s all based on your preference.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp Waka instant tea
- 1 lemon slice
- 2 orange slices
- 1 - 2 tbsp of honey
- Mint leaves
Instructions:
- Mix 1 cup of water with 1 tsp of instant tea in glass mug. Stir until all the tea has fully dissolved.
- Depending on your preferred sweetness, add 1 - 2 tbsp of honey and stir.
- Squeeze 1 lemon slice into tea and stir.
- Squeeze two orange slices into the tea and stir.
- Add in ice, mint leaves and stir.
- Enjoy!
This recipe only serves one person, but if you would like a larger serving, you can multiply the ingredients to your liking. You can even make this tea in bulk and store it in the fridge for the week! Feel free to adjust the amount of instant tea used if you want a stronger brew.
