How to Make Honey Lavender Black Tea Latte

What is a Tea Latte?
A tea latte, also known as milk tea, is like a traditional latte except tea is used to make the beverage instead of coffee. Similar to coffee lattes, tea lattes have frothed milk and sweeteners added to give it that creamy and delicious flavor.
Honey Lavender Black Tea Latte Recipe
In this recipe, we will be smoking dried lavender to give our cup an extra layer of aroma. Not only that but smoking lavender can release certain terpenes that can be absorbed into our bloodstream. Doing so may help alleviate stress and promote relaxation.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 tsp of Waka instant tea (black)
- 8 oz of hot water
- 1/2 cup of warm milk
- 1 tsp of dried lavender
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 tsp of lavender liqueur
Directions:
- Heat up milk in the microwave until warm.
- Froth the milk until you get thick foam.
- Next, place dried lavender on a plate and light on fire with a lighter. Be very careful while you are doing it! Place a mug over to trap in all the smoke and leave covered for a few minutes.
- While smoking the mug, place tea powder, lavender liqueur, honey and hot water into another cup and stir until all mixed together.
- Quickly flip the cup with the smoke over and pour the foamy milk into the glass. Blow out the smoking lavender completely.
- Then pour the tea mixture over the milk.
- Add some dried lavender on top (optional).
